Naruto finally faces the student he shaped from a loudmouth kid into an actual ninja. The fight itself doesn't land the way you expect it to, which is exactly what makes it hurt. A ten-minute story that gets what the chunin exams were always about: not winning, but proving you've changed since the last time the village saw you fight.

With the Fourth Great Ninja War drawing near, Sunagakure holds a special Chunin exam meant to strengthen the Allied Shinobi Forces. Among the entrants are Konohamaru Sarutobi, an eager rookie, and Naruto Uzumaki, now a famous ninja. The tournament sets Naruto against his former pupil. Although Konohamaru is far behind in skill, he is thrilled at the chance to test himself against Naruto, the person he looks up to and also counts as his rival. The action adventure film was screened together with NARUTO: Blood Prison.
