SYNOPSIS
Takashi Natsume carries a secret that isolates him from the world: he can see yokai, the supernatural spirits that inhabit Japan alongside humanity. It contains the names of hundreds of spirits she'd bound through contracts, giving her power over them. Now Natsume finds himself caught between two worlds, seeking to understand what connection he shares with these creatures and why his grandmother collected their names in the first place. Accompanied by Nyanko, a cat-like yokai of immense strength hiding beneath a facade of laziness, Natsume gradually learns that relationships between humans and spirits don't have to be transactional or fearful.
