Miko's just trying to be a streamer. Miko Kurono is a teenage livestreamer who goes by "Necronomico" and plays video games for a modest audience. Her close friend and fellow streamer Mayu Mayusaka has been in a coma for three months, along with other popular streamers, and Miko has been paying her hospital bills. Short on money, she signs up for a secret beta test of a new VR game. Inside, she meets other streamers and the Old Ones, ancient gods trapped in the virtual world who run a deadly contest called the Cosmic Horror Show. The winner gets a single wish, so Miko sets out to win and save Mayu. The show mixes comedy, fantasy and sci-fi.
