Masaki gets publicly destroyed on livestream and the show just... lets her be furious about it instead of turning it into a redemption arc she didn't ask for. The comedy lands hardest when it's about the actual mechanics of content creation, the parasocial rot of viewer culture, and what it costs to perform yourself into existence. By episode three you stop waiting for the sentiment and realize the sentiment was always there, buried under jokes about thumbnail angles and algorithm manipulation, waiting to hit you in the chest.

Masaki's career on NewTube collapses when the Harikiri Sisters expel her from the group in the middle of a livestream. Left with a bad reputation and a flood of hateful comments, she has little hope of winning back an audience on her own. Then she meets Live, a vampire freshly awakened from a long sleep during which she dreamed of Masaki and became fixated on her. Sensing a viral opportunity, Masaki strikes a deal: Live gets Masaki's blood, and in return Live helps her reach a million subscribers. With the other vampires in Live's house joining the plan, the pair start filming videos to put Masaki's career back on top. The result is a supernatural comedy set in the world of online content creation.
