SYNOPSIS
Mahiru just wants an ordinary life, the kind where nothing unexpected happens and effort stays minimal. That plan collapses the moment he picks up a stray black cat. The cat turns out to be Kuro, a vampire servant bound by ancient contract, and one bad kiss later Mahiru finds himself locked into a supernatural pact he never asked for. Now Kuro is tied to Mahiru whether either of them likes it or not, dragging him headfirst into a hidden vampire hierarchy. Seven powerful servants of darkness move in the shadows, each tied to a different deadly sin, and their interests don't align. A brewing conflict threatens to spill into the human world, and Mahiru stands caught between sides through no choice of his own. What starts as reluctant cohabitation transforms into something stranger. Mahiru needs to survive in a world of fangs and darkness while Kuro grapples with his own complicated past. Simple living becomes impossible when your roommate is an immortal predator and enemies keep showing up at your door.
