Anime Like Blood Lad
Staz is a vampire mob boss who couldn't care less about blood, he just wants to talk about anime and manga with anyone who'll listen. When a Japanese girl dies and becomes a ghost in his territory, his entire motivation flips from "run my criminal empire" to "I have to resurrect this person so we can discuss Bleach." The show knows its own joke and never apologizes for it.
SYNOPSIS
Staz rules a corner of the demon underworld with the kind of casual authority that comes from being monstrously powerful, but his real passion lies somewhere unexpected: Japanese pop culture. His obsession with everything from anime to snacks consumes him far more than vampire instincts ever could. When a Japanese girl named Fuyumi stumbles through a portal into his territory, he sees the opportunity of a lifetime. Before he can even properly introduce himself, though, a careless monster kills her, leaving her trapped as a ghost with no way home. Guilt mixed with genuine interest sends Staz on an unlikely mission: he's going to find a way to resurrect Fuyumi and return her to the living world. What follows is equal parts action-packed adventure and comedic chaos as a vampire nerd and a stranded ghost navigate the dangers of the demon realm together, their partnership growing stronger with each obstacle they face. Expect monster battles, surprising heart, and plenty of humor born from culture clash and supernatural confusion.
