A priestess and a beast king keep trying to seduce each other and it never stops being funny. The show commits harder to its own absurd premise with every episode, treating a ridiculous setup with genuine affection and timing that lands. It knows exactly what it is: a 44-episode comedy that could have been five minutes but chose to mine every possible angle of two characters circling each other, and somehow that restraint is the whole joke. The chemistry between them carries weight even when the show is being completely silly. It's built for people who want their comedy character-driven rather than gag-dependent. By the end, you're not laughing at the premise anymore, you're laughing because you've watched these two fall in love across 44 tiny episodes, and the show earned that without ever breaking character.
