You're not watching a story about fake spirits. Koyomi Araragi has lived through a vampire attack and crossed paths with several girls troubled by supernatural forces. Now he wakes up bound and held captive by his girlfriend, Hitagi Senjougahara, who wants him out of reach of Deishuu Kaiki, the con man who once cheated her family. Kaiki has come back to town and is spreading the same incantation that once cursed Nadeko, and Koyomi's sister Karen has gotten on his wrong side. When a panicked message from Karen arrives, Koyomi sets out to save her, while his other sister, Tsukihi, faces troubles of her own. Two mysterious women then enter the family's lives with aims nobody can guess, and grim revelations about the Araragi household lie ahead. Adapted from Nishio Ishin's light novels and covering the Karen Bee and Tsukihi Phoenix arcs, this 11-episode continuation of Bakemonogatari mixes comedy, ecchi and supernatural mystery with psychological drama.
