A man with a gun for a head takes cases nobody else will touch. The premise is pure genre pulp, but the show cracks it open to ask something heavier: what happens to your humanity when your body stops being yours. In a post-war city crawling with Extends, modified humans weaponized beyond recognition, Juuzou scrapes by as a problem-solver for those caught between humanity and machinery. When a fugitive Extended bursts into his office carrying a boy and begging for help, Juuzou takes the job. Soon street thugs and the powerful Berühren Corporation are all after the child, and Juuzou sets out to learn why. This is gritty sci-fi action with a heavy dramatic streak.
