A kid rebuilds her dead sister as a robot and has to learn that the thing she created isn't the person she lost. The show knows this is devastating. It also knows it's funny, Peta Robo's malfunctions land harder because you're already invested in Null's desperation to make this work. Twelve episodes is enough time to break your heart and put it back together differently, which is exactly what this show does.

Null is an elementary school girl and a genius inventor whose older sister Peta dies in an accident. To cope with her grief, Null puts her talents to work and revives Peta as a robot, Peta Robo, built with the same traits as the sister she lost. The rebuilt Peta turns out to be a little different from the original, though, and not quite what Null had expected. What follows is a wacky sci-fi slice-of-life comedy about the everyday antics of a little sister and her robot big sister.
