A show about a cat joining the Navy should be absurd. Instead it's quietly gentle, letting you sit with a cat in uniform doing ordinary naval tasks while everything stays small and sincere. The joke isn't that a cat is there, it's that nobody treats it like a joke. Six episodes that feel like finding a warm corner of the internet where someone is just drawing a cat and being genuinely happy about it.
