Small cube-shaped aliens crash-land on Earth and just... stay, living like cats in the margins of human life. There's no plot urgency, no stakes, no reason to care except that watching Tora and his crew exist without pretense is genuinely restful. This show knows the difference between a story and a mood, and it picks mood every single time.

The Nyanbo are square-bodied creatures with ears and tails who arrived on Earth from outer space. Tora dreams of fixing their broken UFO and heading back into space. Around him are his sister Kotora, the precocious Shiro, the mischievous Mike, the mysterious Kuro and plenty of other Nyanbos. They now live contentedly in spots humans are unaware of, behaving much like cats: doing as they please and landing in trouble now and then. Each short episode is a comedic slice of life about their everyday antics.
