The comedy doesn't need plot. A dog's ears flopping at the wrong moment, a cat's dead-eyed stare during breakfast, the owner's quiet laugh at 2 AM when nobody else is watching, these are the entire show, and they're enough. Kana Hanazawa and Tomokazu Sugita turn a minute-long moment into something that lands like it's been building for years. If you've ever watched your pet do something small and stupid and felt your chest get tight, this show knows exactly what you mean.

A hardworking, very cute dog and a scary-faced yet lovable cat share a home with their owner, Matsumoto. The dog is sweet and innocent, while the cat is mischievous and devious but still adorable. Life with both of them brings Matsumoto plenty of laughs, along with the occasional tear. Adapted from a comedy slice of life manga by Matsumoto Hidekichi, this short-format TV comedy runs 24 episodes. It is aimed at viewers who adore dogs and cats alike and could never pick a favorite.
