A talking animal kingdom makes Chopper king, and for once the joke isn't that he's useless, it's that he's exactly what these creatures needed. The movie stops pretending to have stakes and just commits to watching your favorite reindeer doctor stumble through leadership while the crew tears through hunters with the kind of easy chemistry that only happens when you've been sailing together for years. It's a palette cleanser disguised as a plot, the kind of detour that reminds you One Piece works best when it forgets to be serious.

The Straw Hat crew comes across Crown Island, a place where the animals can talk, and the animals make Chopper their new king. Human hunters are on the island too, searching for legendary horns said to grant immense power to whoever consumes them. Luffy and his friends set out to stop the hunters before they destroy this animal kingdom. The film is a One Piece adventure that mixes action and comedy with a fantasy setting.
