Akito actually listens when people talk to him instead of short-circuiting into nosebleeds like every other harem lead. The fanservice hits the beat you want it to, but the real joke is watching four girls absolutely lose their minds trying to out-cute each other while he just stays standing there, competent and vaguely amused. A little sister complex plus three student council girls in one house means someone is always escalating, and the show knows exactly how funny that gets.

After their parents die, Akito and Akiko Himenokouji are sent to live with different families, and six years pass before the siblings reunite and share a home again. Akiko has grown a serious brother complex and loves Akito romantically, while he sees her only as family. Her hope of having him to herself falls apart when three girls move into their apartment: Arashi Nikaidou, Anastasia Nasuhara and Ginbei Haruomi Sawatari. Each of them is drawn to Akito in some way, and as they compete to look after him, the rivalry turns into a comedy full of racy fanservice and romantic tension.
