During the Onin wars of Japan's medieval Muromachi era, five formidable warriors sell their services to whoever offers the most. Onimaru leads them. Bo is the demolitions expert, Saru moves with a monkey's agility, Osamu plans as a calm tactician, and Kiri is the group's alluring swordswoman. Their band grows by one when Onimaru rescues Princess Aya, who falls for him and will not leave. The single-episode 1990 OVA combines action and adventure.
