Ookina Furudokei is a single-episode music short made for NHK's Minna no Uta program, setting a Japanese-language version of My Grandfather's Clock, the 1876 song by American songwriter Henry Clay Work. This is the second time the program aired the song. Sumito Tachikawa returns as the singer, again joined by the Miho Nagato Opera Children's Choir, and this release pairs their performance with new animation by Yoshiyuki Takeguchi.
