This special is where the show finally stops apologizing for its stupidity. Six Arthurs arguing over who gets to save England while Excalibur keeps handing out power like participation trophies, that premise doesn't need more plot, it needs more chaos, and an unaired episode exists for exactly this reason. The comedy works because nobody in this show pretends the situation makes sense; they're all just committed to being the most inconvenient version of a hero possible.

Operation Han-Gyaku-Sei Million Arthur Special is a one-episode 2019 extra that never aired on television. Instead it came included with volume six of the show's Blu-ray release. It belongs to a franchise built on Square Enix's online role-playing game, where the sword Excalibur judges who deserves great power and grants the name Arthur, though it hands out that honor freely. The earlier series sends six Arthurs to England to bring down the corrupt leaders troubling their country and the world. Its genre listing covers action, adventure, comedy and fantasy.
