A lost artifact from the moment anime thought it could just keep building forever. The special vanished almost immediately, which makes it less a piece of entertainment and more a ghost story about what Tezuka Productions thought the future would actually look like.

Made by Tezuka Productions to mark the arrival of the new millennium, this one-off special gathers a wide range of characters created by Osamu Tezuka, the recurring cast known as his Star System. The characters receive awards based on how they performed over the years, in an awards show played for comedy with fantasy and sci-fi touches. Very little about the special has surfaced, and it is considered completely lost.
