The Butt Detective returns, and the show still refuses to break character about any of it. Season three carries forward the impossible commitment: treating a flatulent investigator as a legitimate procedural, where every case gets solved with the same deadpan authority as if this were Columbo. The bit only works because nobody on screen acknowledges how genuinely stupid the premise is, and by this point the audience knows the contract, trusts the execution, and shows up ready to laugh at the sheer audacity of buttocks-based deduction treated as serious detective work.
