A prince inherits a medieval world that never stopped being a war machine. Galient drops you into that collision without apology, where swords and castles exist because ancient giant robots buried themselves underground and waited. Watching a kid figure out his dead civilization's weapons while kingdoms crumble around him is the actual story here, not the mecha spectacle layered on top of it.

On the medieval-looking world of Arst, the conqueror Marder has destroyed the homeland of Crown Prince Jordy Volder. To keep him out of Marder's reach, a loyal retainer raises the prince in secret. One day Jordy comes across Galient, a legendary giant robot panzer, in a remote valley. It is one of many panzers kept underground for thousands of years. Marder commands an entire army of advanced panzers and is taking over all of Arst as a first step toward ruling the Crescent Galaxy. With Galient at his side, Jordy takes up the fight against him, determined to win back his land. The result is a mecha adventure that blends fantasy and science fiction.
