Wendy never stops being the adult in the room, even when the room is Neverland and everyone else is having the time of their lives. Peter Pan promises adventure, but the show is really about a girl forced to mother two brothers while surrounded by mermaids, fairies, and pirates who all want something from her. The treasure hunt that fills the second half gives the show structure, but Wendy's exhaustion is the real plot, watching her hold everything together while everyone else chases wonder.

Wendy and her two little brothers are taken to Neverland, a land of adventure, by Peter Pan, a boy who will never grow up. There they meet little fairies, mermaids, Indians and pirates, and exciting events keep unfolding around them. Wendy is expected to act as a mother, and with everything going on, including thrilling battles against the pirates, she hardly gets a moment of rest. Later on, the children get hold of a map from the pirates and set out to find buried treasure. The show is a fantasy adventure running 41 episodes.
