A man regains consciousness in an unfamiliar room stripped of all memory. He doesn't know his name, his past, or why he's here. They rename him Zwei and pair him with Ein, their top and most enigmatic assassin, who is to train him for his new life as an operative. Her first lesson is blunt: kill, or die. Surrounded by lies and violence and always close to death, Zwei must fight to survive, holding on to the hope of one day recovering his memories and breaking free.
