A hacker breaks the internet open and suddenly everyone can look up everyone else's secrets, but the show doesn't care about the thriller premise, it cares about what happens when a girl checks if her crush thinks about her, or when friends realize they don't know each other at all. The animation is deliberately crude, deliberately flat, which makes the quiet moments of recognition hit harder than any spectacle could. Three minutes per episode means every frame of body language, every pause, every glance carries weight that longer shows waste on filler.

In a near future where videophones and constant wireless internet are part of everyday life, a talented hacker slips past weak government security and gets into the national information archive. From that data he builds Platonic Chain, a website where people can look up details about themselves and the people they know. Word spreads fast that the site can find almost anything, and three young girls, Hitomi, Rika and Kanae, happen to get access to it. The short-format episodes mix drama, romance and science fiction.
