SYNOPSIS
Raika's life in his quiet seaside town is picture-perfect: school days with his best friend Ibuki, afternoons with his live-in maid Yuri, and zero supernatural complications. Then his father reveals himself as a magical girl, and Raika's carefully balanced world implodes. A squad of actual magical girls descends on his school hunting for the Mana Prism, a legendary treasure stone, and they decide Raika is essential to their quest. Against every fiber of his being, he gets forced into a magical girl outfit himself. Now he's stuck fighting alongside these colorful warriors, desperately trying to keep his school from becoming collateral damage in their treasure hunt, all while maintaining what's left of his normal reputation. This comedy OVA leans hard into the absurdity of a reluctant hero who never asked for any of this. It's silly, suggestive, and doesn't take itself seriously for a second. Perfect if you want something lighthearted that mocks the magical girl genre while embracing its most ridiculous tropes.
