A pizza delivery boy in a nowhere town gets handed the apocalypse in human form, and the show doesn't pretend this makes sense. It commits fully to the absurdity instead, treating a teenage girl as a MacGuffin worth global warfare while a minimum-wage nobody becomes the only person who sees her as just a person. The real joke is that Kenta's complete disconnection from the world actually makes him the only sane one in it. This is a one-shot music anime that swings for genuine emotion in the margins of its own ridiculous premise, landing somewhere between satire and sincerity where most shows are too afraid to go. It's built for people who recognize that sometimes the most human response to the world ending is just showing up with pizza.

Kenta Akagi scrapes by as a pizza delivery boy in Lutzheim, the only town he has ever known. To him, distant lands, foreign people and their wars and adventures are nothing more than tales. Then he meets a young girl of the sort that wars break out over. Others seem to fear her, though Kenta cannot see why. He only senses that he has met her somewhere before, and he resolves to keep her safe whatever it takes. Soon the pizza boy finds himself with the fate of the world in his hands.
