Seth is a sorcerer-in-training with a big dream: master magic and hunt down the Némésis, creatures that fall from the sky and plague the world. Problem is, his eagerness keeps landing him in trouble. He angers the villagers of Pompo Hills, frustrates his guardian Alma, and generally causes more problems than he solves. Like every sorcerer, Seth is infected, having survived contact with a Némésis, and sorcerers are persecuted for it. When a huge Némésis attacks his village, Seth sets out to find the Radiant, the legendary place the monsters are believed to come from, hoping to destroy their source. Fellow sorcerers Doc and Mélie join him, and together they travel the world, facing tough enemies under the watchful eye of the Inquisition. The result is a fantasy adventure that mixes action with comedy.
