A woman confronts her own fractured consciousness and has to argue for her right to exist. One conversation between two versions of herself becomes a full existential trial. The OVA doesn't build toward an answer, it sits inside the question, letting philosophy breathe where plot would suffocate it.

Quon Kisaragi is startled to see an apparition of herself hovering in the air. This double insists she is a fragment of Quon, and their meeting turns into an existential conversation between the two. A single-episode OVA side story from 2003, the piece is a psychological sci-fi drama set in the RahXephon franchise. It was packaged with a special edition of the RahXephon game for the PlayStation 2.
