Bean Bandit doesn't think, he drives, and for 46 minutes straight, the Roadbuster tears through Chicago like the movie studios forgot to tell anime it couldn't do this yet. The car chases hit with the precision of late-80s action cinema that actually respects speed and geography instead of cutting every two seconds. A getaway driver's fever dream made real, then abandoned after one perfect episode, which somehow makes it hit harder.

Bean Bandit and his partner Rally Vincent work as couriers for hire, moving clients and cargo in Bean's custom sports car, the Roadbuster, and charging a steep price for the service. Their latest job is to escort a kidnapped girl named Chelsea back home. What they don't realize is that they are being set up to take the blame for the kidnapping. Their former clients Semmerling and Carrie are scheming to get away with Chelsea's father and the ransom money. The single OVA mixes action, comedy and thriller elements.
