SYNOPSIS
When A Gan's body reaches its limit, she slips into Kong, a realm where the dying find one last chance at existence. Here, pilots climb into towering mechas and battle in arenas where victory means resurrection, where defeat means permanent oblivion. A Gan expected to fight alone, but fate has other plans. She gets paired with Zhang San, a mecha cursed with a malevolent consciousness of its own, one that questions her orders and operates on its own twisted logic. Together they're forced into the ring repeatedly, A Gan desperate to win her way back to life while Zhang San seems to relish the violence in ways that deeply unsettle her. The partnership breeds constant friction: A Gan needs to trust a machine that actively resists being trusted, and Zhang San needs a pilot who can't quite figure out what it actually wants. As battles escalate and the rules of Kong become clearer, A Gan realizes this world isn't just a path back home.
