Tomonori is a genuinely unlikeable protagonist, and the show knows it, the comedy lives in watching him get demolished by every situation he creates, especially by the one person whose opinion he can't escape. Rizel's voice acting (Rie Kugimiya at peak deadpan) versus his spiraling panic is the entire engine. At 14 minutes, each episode hits a joke, lands the character moment, and gets out before it wears out its welcome, which means you actually want the next one.

Tomonori Iwaki is an ordinary fifteen-year-old boy with a weakness for older women and a crush on his teacher, until he learns she is engaged. He heads home heartbroken and finds a twelve-year-old girl named Rizel there, only to discover that the Japanese government has married him to her without his consent. Rizel is no ordinary girl: she is a biochemically engineered human. Her creators, commonly known as her papas, offer to wipe out a number of his parents' bills if she can live in their house, and so Tomonori's life with Rizel begins. The result is a short-episode romantic comedy with ecchi and science fiction elements.
