SYNOPSIS
Alus Reigin is sixteen years old and already a legend. The nation's strongest magicmaster, he's spent his adolescence fighting back the Fiends that plague the world, reclaiming territory inch by inch. When he finally requests discharge from active duty, he expects a quiet life away from the battlefield. Instead, fate has other plans. To keep his identity under wraps and prevent the military from reassigning him, Alus enrolls at a prestigious magical academy as an ordinary student. The catch: he's secretly tasked with mentoring two talented young magicasters, preparing them to stand against threats he can no longer openly confront. Between classroom lessons and clandestine training sessions, Alus discovers that stepping back from the front lines doesn't mean stepping away from danger. The Fiends continue their assault, and some battles still require the touch of the world's greatest magicmaster, even if nobody can know he's the one fighting them.
