Satou is an ordinary high school boy who can change into Sakuran Boy DT, a costumed local hero. His mission is to save the mayor's daughter from Zaou, a sinister secret society. The comedy comes in eleven weekly episodes of about five minutes each, made with Flash animation. The hero's name is a pun: it plays on Japanese slang for a male virgin and on Sakuranbo, the Yamagata television station that aired the show.
