A burnt-out salaryman thought he was getting a pet. Instead he got a wizard from another dimension who treats his Tokyo apartment like a magical battleground. Season 2 doubles down on the core joke: Sasaki's exhaustion is real, Peeps' incompetence is real, and neither of them can fix the other. The show never winks at the audience. It commits completely to a middle-aged man's quiet despair colliding with interdimensional chaos, and that collision is the entire point. You watch Sasaki navigate workplace hell knowing his actual problem is much weirder, and somehow that makes both funnier.

Sasaki and Peeps returns for a second season of comedy fantasy with a magical-girl streak, based on the light novels written by Buncololi and illustrated by Kantoku. The earlier season introduced Sasaki, a middle-aged Japanese office worker worn down by corporate life, who brings home a bird named Peeps from a pet shop. Peeps turns out to be a powerful mage from another world, and the two set out on an adventure of swords and sorcery.
