A magical girl show built on the premise that you never, ever use your power, that the real magic is staying hidden. Sasami's forced passivity isn't weakness; it's the entire tension. The world-building works because coexistence between humans and witches means both sides lose something, and the show knows that cost matters more than transformation sequences.

Sasami was born with magic, but when she was three her parents told her never to use it, and she has kept her powers hidden from everyone ever since. She lives in a world where people calling themselves Majo, or magical girls, quietly conceal their abilities and have lived peacefully among ordinary humans for generations. Cheerful and surrounded by friends, Sasami joins her school's cooking club along with Misao, a lonely new girl who struggles to fit in. The club's new teacher, Wajuu, arrives at the start of the term, and the club turns out to be a Magical Girls Club, a discovery that sets Sasami's life and her friends' lives on a very different course. The series is a fantasy magical girl show built around the popular Sasami character.
