Seven's deadpan delivery destroys you in one scene, then the show breaks your heart in the next by showing you who he actually is underneath the jokes. The animation moves like nothing else on the platform, every fight choreographed to feel personal instead of just spectacular. Comedy's slightly quieter this season, but that trade-off buys room for Seven's past to finally matter, turning what could have been a throwaway assassin into someone you genuinely care about watching suffer. Ten episodes of fifteen minutes each means the show respects your time and never overstays a joke. This is what happens when a hidden gem gets a second shot and actually improves.

The lead is a hairdresser who fights with scissors and takes on assassination work, though he is far from skilled at it. He has lost his memories and still hopes to get them back. In this second season of Scissor Seven, that search draws him into a power struggle between two rival factions. The ten-episode ONA combines action, comedy and drama with elements of mystery and the supernatural.
