Two girls everyone assumes are unfriendly find out they're the only person the other one actually wants to be around. The food court becomes a sanctuary not because anything dramatic happens there, but because nothing has to. High school loneliness gets solved by accident, one afternoon at a time, with someone who gets it without needing explanations.

Wada has resting unfriendly face. Yamamoto looks like she could destroy you with a single glance. To their classmates, Wada seems a quiet, well-off honor student and Yamamoto an intimidating loner, but each hides a different side: Wada chatters freely and is hooked on mobile games, while Yamamoto loves urban legends, online mysteries, American culture and her favorite YouTuber. They attend different high schools, yet almost every day after class they meet in a corner of a shopping mall food court. There they vent, joke and talk openly about the highs and lows of school life, building a close friendship out of small everyday absurdities. The result is a relaxed slice-of-life comedy about two unlikely friends and their easygoing afternoons together.
