A young couple lives together in 1970s Japan, and their shared life carries a deep, aching sorrow that came to stand for a whole generation of young couples. The original love comic once moved baby boomers to tears. Seiichi Hayashi, the painter who created it, draws and directs this single-episode OVA himself. Folk singer Morio Agata, who had a big hit with a song that grew out of the comic, works with Hayashi again after more than thirty years. The result is a quiet romance given fresh life as a Ganime work.
