The squad gets a straightforward rescue mission and walks into a vampire whose entire existence is built on a single, terrible question: what if the person you're saving doesn't want to be saved? Ferid and Crowley show up not as obstacles but as the real answer to why this girl is trapped at all. What starts as a side mission becomes the moment you realize Yuichiro's certainty, his ability to just act, might not survive contact with a vampire who has reasons.

Set before the Battle in Nagoya arc, this one-episode OVA sends the Shinoa Squad, Yuichiro among them, on a new assignment from Guren: rescue a human girl named Riko and bring her home to her family. Riko has been taken by Shahal, a mysterious vampire whose real aim is unclear, since he holds her captive yet will not drink her blood. The situation grows more tangled when the vampire nobles Ferid and Crowley turn up to see Shahal, and the squad has to find out whether Yuichiro can still save the girl.
