Keroro finds a stone head that looks like him and decides this is definitely worth a full expedition to Easter Island with his entire squad, because subtlety has never been the point. The movie commits completely to the bit: ancient curses, cute spirits, evil demon twins, and somehow a five-man frog invasion force makes perfect sense in this world. It's pure Keroro, stupid premise, genuine heart, and the kind of comedy that works because everyone involved is taking the absurdity seriously.

A stone carving that looks uncannily like Keroro turns up at Fuyumi's home. To get to the bottom of the mystery, the Keroro Squad heads to remote Easter Island. There they encounter the Mana, harmless spirits, along with a strange pair of twins named Io and Rana. They also face Akuaku, a legendary evil spirit that has only just woken from a long sleep. The comedy film was screened as a double feature alongside an SD Gundam Sangokuden Brave Battle Warriors movie.
