Two baseball teams made up of animals, the Foxes and the Rabbits, face off on the diamond to decide which side is superior. The game eventually rests on the Foxes' star hitter, who steps up to bat as his team's last chance to win. Then a lovely female fox in the stands starts cheering for him, and on the final pitch his attention wanders from the ball. Made in 1949 by Kindaieigasha and directed by Satoshi Morino, this short sports film was later brought to the United States in 1957 with English narration and released for syndication as Seventh Inning Stretch.
