Shi Zhouwu is a martial arts prodigy who shows up at the Martial Arts Young Eagle Tournament ready to prove himself against the best fighters of his generation. He wins bout after bout, but every victory comes wrapped in an unexpected torment: the couples he faces keep flaunting their affection for each other mid-battle, leaving him painfully aware of how alone he is at the top. By the time he claims the title of Number One Young Martial Artist, the honor barely registers. All he can think about is fixing the one gap in his otherwise unbeatable life, finding someone to love. The setup plays martial arts spectacle for laughs, turning tournament arcs into a running joke about a guy who can beat anyone except his own loneliness. It suits anyone who wants their fighting tournament served with a side of comedic self-pity.
