A girl who is literally a shiba inu walks through school like it's the most normal thing in the world, and everyone acts like she is too. The joke isn't that she looks weird, it's that nobody cares, and somehow that's the funniest thing happening. Ninety seconds at a time, it does more with deadpan acceptance than most comedies do in 22 minutes.

Shiba Inuko is a fourteen-year-old who happens to look exactly like a Shiba Inu. She attends middle school, plays with friends, and behaves politely, with habits that are part dog and part human. Everyone around her treats her like a normal girl. Only Chako Ishibashi, the classmate at the next desk, finds her appearance strange, while the rest of the class never seems to notice. Together with their friend Naho, the three go about their ordinary school days and run into the occasional dog-related trouble. Short episodes deliver quick, absurd comedy that treats the impossible setup as everyday reality.
