Shimajiro and his friends come across a whale that has been hurt, and Gaogao lends the animal a hand. Later the group heads beneath the sea in search of the whale's mother, meeting the fish that live in the ocean along the way and running into a giant crab. A feature-length film mixing adventure, comedy and fantasy for a lighthearted undersea outing.
