A girl too proud to say what she feels watches the one person who mattered walk away, then burns her entire life down to chase him across the country. The show knows this is ridiculous and loves her for it anyway. Reiko doesn't learn to be humble or "better", she just learns that wanting something badly enough is its own kind of honesty, and that's enough.

Reiko is nineteen, rich, arrogant and fixated on material things. She has feelings for her classmate Tetsuya Akimoto but refuses to admit them, and by the time she does, she has nearly lost her chance with him. Set on winning him back, she chases him to Tokyo and enrolls at the same university he attends. The result is a single-episode comedy and romance OVA from 1990.
