One mistake in a fight spirals into Sonic getting separated from his world entirely, stranded in space with no way home. The show commits to the consequence: no reset button, no easy fix, just a kid and his friends building a spaceship from salvage and desperation to find a way back. It's the only Sonic story that actually lets something break and refuses to undo it, watching how a hero changes when he can't run home anymore.

Sonic faces Dark Oak, the most dangerous enemy of his career so far, and triggers Chaos Control during the battle, sending the Chaos Emeralds flying to distant corners of the galaxy. Elsewhere, Tails, Amy and Cream come across a spaceship that has crashed onto their planet in the middle of a meteor shower. The second season of the TV series runs 26 episodes and mixes action, adventure, comedy, fantasy, mecha and science fiction.
