A kid materializes from an alien globe in the ocean and becomes your family's secret. Space Ace runs on the logic of 1965 Saturday morning adventure, where the weirdest premise is just the setup. Every episode finds a new way to ask: what do you do when you've adopted something that doesn't belong to your world, and neither of you know why it's here?
Dr. Tatsunoko and his daughter Asari go under the sea to investigate strange radiation and find a huge shell with a globe inside that turns out to be the source. A message they recover explains that the globe carries an alien from Parlum, a planet close to extinction. Out of it bursts a boy named Ace, who runs wild at first. He draws superhuman strength from space food and flies using a Silver Ring formed from energy in the air, a ring he can also turn into a weapon. With Asari, the robot dog Ibo and Hermit Crab Reporter backing him, Ace takes on mysterious robots, monsters and vicious space invaders in this 1960s sci-fi action adventure.
