Stained Smell is a psychological animated film centered on the feeling of being left in the past while others move on. Its creator draws on their own early years, especially the gap between the circumstances they lived through as a child and the emotions they carried inside at the time. The result is a personal work about a mismatch between inner experience and outward reality, and it will resonate with anyone who has felt out of step with their own past.
