Team Ootori's disqualification after everything they've fought for hits harder than you expect from a two-episode OVA about a school musical. The show doesn't wallow in it. Instead, it lets you watch these kids figure out what they're actually fighting for when winning stops being an option. That's the real graduation.

The school festival at Ayanagi Academy is over, and a new year begins as the current Kao Council members wrap up their final duties and step down. Every musical team prepares a performance for the graduation ceremony to express their gratitude. Team Ootori is left out: after the festival incident, Itsuki Ootori has been removed from the council, and the disbanded team loses its Star Team status and its place in the ceremony. Yuuta Hoshitani and the others decide to act, coming up with a plan to persuade the council to restore Ootori to his former post. The two-episode OVA mixes comedy, music and slice-of-life school moments.
