A girl walks into a school built for boys to become idols. She's not here to sing. She's here to make them shine, which means she has to see through every performance to what's actually breaking underneath. The show treats idol work like therapy, every practice room conversation is someone admitting what they're too scared to say on stage. The OST doesn't just accompany these moments. Yumenosaki Academy is a private boys' school with a long record of training idols for show business. Anzu transfers in under special circumstances and becomes the first member of its new producer course, which makes her the only girl on campus. Her classmates Subaru Akehoshi, Hokuto Hidaka, Mao Isara and Makoto Yuuki make up the idol unit Trickstar. The academy stages Dream Idol Festivals, contests where units sing and dance against each other while the audience picks the winner, and victory brings privileges and status. The powerful student council holds to old traditions and punishes anyone involved in an unapproved festival. Fed up, Trickstar decide to stir up a revolution at the school, with Anzu as their producer. The series adapts an idol-raising game and mixes music with slice-of-life school scenes.
